  • For each course you will receive an eBook^, online exam, and certificate of completion.

    • ^Appraisal, Business Law, and Escrow are only in physical textbooks and there is a $20 surcharge per course. If you would like to add the physical textbooks of any course, there is a $20 fee per course.  Practice is only available in eBook format and SB 1495 compliant.

  • All courses allow self-paced studying that is NOT timed online!  Students are eligible to complete each course in a minimum of 18 days and maximum of one year (DRE Regulation).  Each course requires the student to pass an online 100 question multiple choice final exam with a score of 60% or higher. All exams are open-book and have a time limit of three hours.  For additional information regarding course descriptions, structuring, etc., please click here.

*The eight required courses to be eligible to apply for a California Real Estate Broker's License are California Real Estate Practice, Finance, Economics, Appraisal, and Legal Aspects of Real Estate. Three courses are electives you can choose from: California Real Estate Principles, Property Management, Mortgage Loan Brokering and Lending, Escrow, and Business Law.  Please note that if you are currently a Salesperson, courses that were completed previously will count towards the eight course requirement of obtaining your Broker's license.  Most Salesperson's have completed three courses, so you will only need five additional courses.  However, if you have some real estate courses or general business classes like Financial Accounting, Business Law, or Macro/Microeconomics completed in college, they may count towards certain course requirements as well.
