You do NOT need the new Management and Supervision

Course if:

  • You are a Salesperson renewing for the FIRST time.

If you do not fall into either of these categories, click here.

Thus, all of the following is required to renew: 

  • 30 Hours of Consumer Protection (Real Estate Update Course)

  • 15 Hours (3 Hours Each: Agency, Ethics, Trust Fund Handling, Fair Housing, and Risk Management)

According to the California Department of Real Estate (DRE), all real estate salespersons and brokers must complete at least 45 clock hours* of continuing education to renew their California Real Estate License.

Self-paced studying that is NOT timed online!  

Students are eligible to complete in a minimum time period of nine days, which includes six days of studying at your own pace without being timed online, complete online quizzes, and three days of online testing!^ Best of all, students have a year from enrollment to complete.  

 

Our 45 Hour Home Study Continuing Education course consists of our 15 Hour Home Study Continuing Education Course (3 Hours Each: Agency, Ethics, Trust Fund Handling, Fair Housing, and Risk Management) and our 30 Hour Consumer Protection Course of Real Estate Update.   For all courses, read the text (in book or PDF format) and take your quizzes and final examinations over the internet.

^Quizzes and final examinations are timed and taken online. After designated waiting period and completion of all quizzes, one exam per 24 hours may be taken, any other exams taken more than once a day will be void.
