SALESPERSON RENEWALS
Real estate Salesperson renewing an original license for the first time (license expiration before July 1, 2011) must complete at least 15 clock hours of DRE-approved continuing education consisting of:
Real estate Salespersons renewing for the second time or more (or license expiration on or after July 1, 2011) must complete at least 45 clock hours of DRE-approved continuing education consisting of:3 hrs Agency, 3 hrs Ethics, 3 hrs Trust Fund Handling, 3 hrs Fair Housing, 3 hrs Risk Management Order Now

BROKER RENEWALS
Real estate brokers renewing an original license for the first time must complete at least 45 clock hours of DRE-approved continuing education consisting of:
Ethics, Agency, Trust Fund Handling, Fair Housing, and Risk Management; And a minimum of 18 clock hours of consumer protection courses and the remaining clock hours related to either consumer service or consumer protection .Order Now

CE testing on or after February 28, 2008 will be limited to completion of final examinations for a maximum of fifteen (15) credit hours during and one 24-hour period.
Salesperson and Broker licensee's Renewing after June 30, 2007 will be required to take an additional 3 hour course called Risk Management.
Renewal License Effective ON or AFTER July 1, 2011, must complete a total of 45 hours of continuing education which includes Agency, Ethics, Trust Fund Handling, Fair Housing, and Risk Management AND at least 18 clock hours of consumer protection AND the remaining hours required to complete the 45 hours may be related to consumer service or consumer protection courses.
